There is a new Kenya that will enchant you with its complexity and extraordinary story. This coffee comes from the renowned Getuya Coffee Factory, established in 1964, under the management of the Mwirua Farmers Cooperative Society.

Each cup of this coffee represents the work of 900 small producers who pick ripe coffee cherries from fertile plantations in the area. After delivery to the factory, the coffee undergoes a washed process - immediate removal of the skin and fermentation in water, which lasts 15-24 hours. This is followed by a double wash and drying on metal dryers for 6 to 7 days.

Situated in the heart of Kenya, at the foot of majestic Mount Kenya, the Kirinyaga region is renowned for its rich volcanic soils and an average annual rainfall of 1270 mm. These natural conditions create an ideal environment for growing fruity and aromatic coffees, which are among the most sought-after in the world.

Kenya Getuya AA coffee is made from SL28, SL34, Batian and Ruiru 11 varieties, which contribute to its unique flavor profile. With every sip, you can enjoy refreshing notes of raspberries, blueberries, brown sugar and delicate floral nuances.
