The Moka pot is very popular in Italy because, among alternative methods of preparing coffee, it best replaces the taste of espresso. It is also very popular here.
The Moka pot consists of three parts. The bottom container is for water, the middle is for the coffee strainer, and the top part is for the resulting coffee.
The body of the Moka pot is made of high-quality aluminum and is equipped with plastic handles.
Moka pots come in different sizes. This size is designed for 3 cups of coffee.
The Moka Express kettle is suitable for all types of heating except induction. It is not dishwasher safe.
The preparation process is very simple:
Fill the filter of the kettle with freshly ground coffee up to the upper line so that no coffee remains on the edges of the filter. Pour cold water into the bottom of the kettle and screw the filter tightly. Place the kettle on the switched-on stove. After a few minutes of boiling, the coffee will start to bubble through the filter. When the coffee is ready, the kettle will start to make a hissing sound. Turn off the stove and you can enjoy coffee comparable to a real espresso.
